Zwinger vom Donau-Ries is a small breeding kennel located on Mt. Hamilton in San Jose, CA.

We breed German Shepherds to the German standard and are very proud of what we are producing. We strive to breed the highest quality in our dogs with: good hips and elbows, excellent health and outgoing temperaments.

Our dogs are imported and come from the best working lines of Germany and the Czech Republic. All of our dogs have "a"-stamp hip and elbow certifications, show ratings, breed surveys, and Schutzhund titles. We also test our dogs for Degenerative Myelopathy to ensure your dog won't have inherited back problems.
