Zwinger vom Donau-Ries is a small breeding kennel located on Mt. Hamilton in San Jose, CA.
We breed German Shepherds to the German standard and are very proud of what we are producing. We strive to breed the highest quality in our dogs with: good hips, excellent health and outgoing temperaments.
Our dogs are imported and come from the best working lines of Germany and the Czech Republic. All of our dogs have "a"-stamp hip certifications, show ratings, breed surveys, and Schutzhund titles.

Congratulations to all the vom
Donau-Ries puppy owners who had entered their dogs in the
Northwestern Regional Show this weekend(5-13-09) at the Menlo Park
Schutzhund Club. Everyone's dog, a total of seven, received a rating
of "SG-Very Good" in conformation. We are also very proud and happy
of Donna and Hoss for achieving a KKl-1 with Dozer vom Donau-Ries
"aka Apache".
There are now 16 vom
Donau-Ries x-rayed dogs with "a-normal" hips!
